American celebrity and heir to the Hilton Hotel fortune, Paris Hilton, was reported to have been stopped by North LA police after they observed her driving outside of the normal bounds that most drivers follow. Though she was not speeding, she was reported to have been changing lanes too frequently and not using her turn signals properly.
Paris first experienced problems with the law after she was charged with a DUI and issued probation. Not long in to her probation and she was sentenced to serve 45 days in county jail for violation of the terms of that probation by driving while her license was suspended.
Being on probation can be very difficult. Many who are on probation for DUI's will often receive more scrutiny from police, just as in the case mentioned above. The best thing to do while on probation is fly very low on the radar, don't put yourself in situations where you can possibly violate your probation. If you do end up violating your probation, you need to immediately call a professional criminal defense lawyer. Many times, with the help of a good criminal lawyer, you can reduce the amount of time that you will spend in jail along with possibly removing the charges completely and walking away with a clean slate. If you or someone you know has been arrested for a criminal charge, please call the law offices of Liberty Lawyers, proudly hosting Tom Matthews and their senior partner.
